TCM Pulse Diagnosis App

This product uses a wristband to capture pulse signals and display them on a tablet. An AI model provides initial analysis to support TCM doctors’ diagnosis.

Main users include CRMs, nurses, TCM doctors, and medical students. The goal is to improve the patient experience and deliver clear, readable pulse data.

Challenge​​s
  1. TCM diagnosis is qualitative and hard to quantify.

  2. Requires seamless integration of hardware, tablet app, and web system.

  3. Waveform data must be readable for professionals.

  4. Measurement flow must fit diverse patient scenarios.

My Role

Responsible for UX/UI design, user interviews, workflow design, and cross-team collaboration with hardware/software PMs and developers.

Key Insights
  1. Long measurement time causes discomfort.

  2. CRMs need a simpler flow that reduces patient questions.

  3. Doctors prefer simplified, easy-to-read data.

  4. Accurate wristband placement is essential.

Improvements
  1. Added quick-measurement mode and time estimates.

  2. Introduced patient instruction cards for better guidance.

  3. Auto-filled patient info and added consent flow.

  4. Simplified doctor interface to highlight key insights.

  5. Added app guidance to streamline CRM operations.
