Gecko and it's tail.

In 2012, nine students from the University of the Arts who had left campus toured from south to north with the theme 'Off the Tail for Survival'.

We are nine creators who decided to leave the White Box space at the School of Art. We hope that the beauty of Da Qi village can be seen through our exhibition. So we went deep into the village and actually walked around to experience the place, to relate the works to the space and to think about them, and to create more possibilities and sparks for each other by organizing the venue.

2012年，訣別校園的九名藝術大學學生，以「斷尾求生」為主題，進行的一場南到北的巡迴展。

壁虎可譬為既有脈絡，在經過體制教育下，新生代創作者銜接並迸發火花；捨去常態性創作展演與手法，但仍試圖保有文化、歷史累積的精粹。在虛構、真實、感知、理性交集的團塊裡，提出。

猶如那，愛的大逃亡。

我們展覽的第一站是位於南藝圍牆旁的大崎村。大崎村是一個傳統農村，歷經人口外移，有許多被廢棄和閒置的老房子。

我們九位創作者，決定別離在藝術學院的白盒子空間，選擇這樣充滿地方紋理及脈絡的地方擺設作品，希望大崎村的樣貌能透過我們展出讓人看見它們的美，於是我們深入這個大崎、並實際去走，去體驗這個地方，將作品與空間產生關聯和發想，也藉由整理場地讓彼此產生更多可能性與火花。
